Media Poets is a Miami-based storytelling studio founded by Emmy-winning filmmaker Hugo Quizhpi and three-time Telly Award-winning director Yavi Reyes.

Yavi leads with a background in fashion design and narrative direction. She was a finalist “Badass Woman of the Year” by the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce and is known for her sharp eye and emotional clarity. Hugo brings the discipline of an Emmy-winning cinematographer—blending light, timing, and story into every frame.

Our work has aired on CBS, Univision, Telemundo, and America TeVé, and has appeared on Times Square billboards. We’ve partnered with the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce, DJ Khaled, Diddy, DJ Chino, Maffio, Emily Estefan, Homero Gallardo, Gala Drama, Angels for Humanity Foundation, Angel Lopez, Chacal, Srta. Dayana, amongst others.
