A cinematic Tax Season Campaing that turns

stress into strategy and possibility.

Max Your Tax needed a campaign for tax season that would stand apart from traditional fear-based advertising and connect with working professionals and business owners under financial pressure.

Media Poets developed a cinematic commercial following two individuals navigating tax season from different perspectives: a working mother overwhelmed by personal responsibilities and a coffee shop owner managing business demands.

The campaign positioned strategic tax planning as a pathway toward clarity, relief, and forward movement; not just filing taxes.

The commercial was used across Instagram, Facebook, the company landing page, and sponsor event presentations.

Challenge

Max Your Tax needed a tax season campaign that could connect with both business owners and working professionals without relying on traditional fear-based tax advertising.

The campaign also needed to function beyond social media.  It served as a landing page centerpiece and sponsor presentation video during live events.

Strategy

Media Poets developed a cinematic narrative campaign following two individuals under financial pressure during tax season: a working mother and a coffee shop owner.

The story focused on the outcome of strategic tax planning rather than the filing process itself showing how financial clarity can create breathing room, opportunity, and momentum.  Alongside the commercial campaign, Media Poets refreshed the CEO’s headshots and studio brand imagery to create a more modern and cohesive visual identity across the company’s marketing materials.

Media Poets led the campaign concept, script development, location scouting, filming, editing, and color grading.

Impact

The campaign contributed to a noticeable increase in consultations during tax season and evolved into a long-term brand asset for Max Your Tax.

Beyond its initial launch, the commercial continued to be used across the company’s landing page, Instagram, Facebook, and sponsor event presentations as part of the brand’s ongoing positioning.
