In this episode, we worked with Emmy-winning journalist Irene Díaz to create a personal brand shoot using just one backdrop: gray.

With moodboard power guiding every detail, the goal was simplicity with impact. But this shoot did more than produce a strong portrait — one of the final images was chosen as the official flyer for the City of Miami’s New Year’s Eve celebration at Bayfront Park. It was featured on digital billboards and shared across Miami-Dade County’s official platforms.

In On the Record, Irene opens up about what it felt like to see herself represented so publicly — and why comfort matters in front of the camera.
